We understand that roof cleaning is a specialist service and have the correct training, experience and equipment to carry out this service safely and effectively.

 

We also know that all roofs are different and there is no "one size fits all" solution to roof cleaning. It's for this reason that we approach all roofs differently. Initially we will carry out an inspection and provide a no-obligation quotation that details our recommended cleaning techniques and reasons why.

 

Depending on factors such as type of roof tile, structural condition, access, and surrounding environment we will recommend one of or a combination of the following options:

 

Scrape & treat

Moss removed from roof using a specialist roof scraping tool with a profile specific to your roof tile. A soft wash and biocide treatment is then applied that kills moss spores, lichen and organic stains, brightens & restores the original colour of the roof tile and protects against any future re-growth.

Low-pressure wash
Roof cleaned using a flat circular roof surface cleaner on an extendable lance, at low pressure through rotating fan jets. Although a pressure washer is used, the pressure is reduced and no turbo/spinning nozzles designed for patio/driveway cleaning are used. A soft wash and biocide treatment is then applied that kills moss spores, lichen and organic stains, brightens & restores the original colour of the roof tile and protects against any future re-growth.

 

Biocide TREATMENT
If your roof is very delicate, the most sympathetic option is for biocide treatment only. We gently apply the chemical via an extendable low pressure lance to thoroughly coat the entire roof. Moss, lichen and organic growth is killed and will gradually dry out, crumble away and fall off. The chemical will continue to work with the weather cycles over a period of months.

All options are carried out safely with extendable lances from our mobile scaffold tower, at no point will we climb or walk on your roof.

Included within this service as part of our clear-up process we will clear out all gutters, wash all fascias & soffits, rinse down all areas and clean all of your windows with our pure-water system. We will always leave your property clean & tidy.
